@pfcneed Sorry to hear that. I believe that if you serve the military for one day, you are qualified to apply for citizenship. But please consult with an immigration lawyer and proceed.

@nirav Trump stopped the MAVNI program and it's very unlikely to reopen when he is the president.

I am a US citizen now.
Hey guys. I became a US citizen through the MAVNI program. It took me more than 2 years but the long wait has finally paid off. I got my "normal" social security card without any restriction and received my US passport. I had so many ups and downs with the MAVNI program but I'm grateful that I'm a US citizen now. I also sponsored my parents to get their green cards. Thank you for all of your support and I hope you get your citizenship too.
I'm on Holiday Block Leave from BCT at Fort Sill. I don't have access to the internet now because I'm at basic training. Hopefully, I will be able to use my laptop at AIT. If you have any question, please leave it here on MAVNI Center. I answer it as soon as I get access to the internet. Thank you!

RE: Background Check
@sujit Nobody knows how long it takes. I know that there are people who enlisted in 2015 still waiting for the MSSD result.
-
RE: Background Check
Hm.. I don't understand your question. Your CI investigation is done but MSSD is not complete?

RE: Physical Re- test
Yea, I know a few. From what I know, the physical is only valid for two years and you have to do all the things again.
