Is MAVNI 2017 open?

Hi, I have few questions that I would like to ask.

1. I have read articles saying that MAVNI is open, but when I contacted a local recruiter, all they said was that it is not open yet and that they will contact me whenever it is open.

2. Is it confirmed that Korean language is closed for 2017?

1. The MAVNI program is extended for FY2017, starting from OCT 2016 to OCT 2017. However, it is currently suspended due to investigation delay. Nobody knows when it will reopen.
2. The Korean language is not found in the DoD Memo about MAVNI FY2017. It is likely that Korean is not close for 2017 but this might change when it reopens.

Hi All,

I am new to this blog. Be kind enough to tell me if any one has info on MAVNI 2017 recruits. How do we register for this year, so that we can be in pipeline for them to consider us when the program restarts.

@mohdfaraz The only way is to check constantly if the MAVNI program reopened or not. The US army does not put you in pipeline.
